As of this writing, there are only 73 days left to get your Halloween costume ready for 2008. What are you going to be this year? The Joker Costume - Like it or not, you’re going to see a LOT of people dressed up as the Joker from Heath Ledger’s Dark Knight performance. Dress up like the “regular” Joker or maybe as the nurse. No matter how many Joker’s are out there, it will still be hilarious. Get a Joker hexagon shirt, throw on some make up and you should be good to go.
Speed Racer Costume - Dress up like your favorite characters in the Speed Racer movie or cartoon. Speed Racer X or if you are a woman maybe you should check out the sexy Trixie Speed Racer costume. Or… just dress up as the regular Speed Racer dude.

Have you seen the latest Batman movie, The Dark Knight starring Heath Ledger? If not, it is an excellent movie and Heath does an awesome job as playing The Joker. This costume should be pretty easy to do as you don’t have to worry too much about doing a great job on make up!
Take a look at this picture and you can see that you will need white makeup as the base for your face, red makeup for your lips and black makeup for your eyes. Just smear it on and you should be good to go. You could probably get away with having a few drinks before applying makeup and still look fine.
You will also want a colorful dark purple suit jacket, green vest and purple pants. These might be hard to find, so you could also get away with a green vest, long sleeve shirt and tie. The main thing is the make up job and medium length sorta greasy hair. Get a wig if needed.
